Palatsides was appointed as the Club’s National Youth Legaue Coach in 2012, taking out the 2014/15 NYL Championship and guiding the side to City’s first piece silverware.

Palatsides’ playing career has seen the former forward ply his trade in the National Soccer League, most notably with South Melbourne and Heidelberg United before heading to the Greek Superleague.

Retiring in 2000, Palatsides began his coaching career in Greece before returning to Australia in 2012 and taking up his role with the Club. Palatsides has overseen the youth development at the Club in his role, heading the National Premier Leagues program and Head Coach of the National Premier Leagues Senior side in 2016.

In January 2017, Palatsides was appointed A-League Assistant Coach, working alongside interim Head Coach Michael Valkanis and Senior Assistant Joe Montemurro while continuing his role with the National Youth League side.
