Arguably Australia’s most successful player, Tim Cahill joined Melbourne City in August 2016 after ending his stint with Hangzhou Greentown.
Forging his career in the United Kingdom at Millwall and Everton, Cahill became of the most feared attackers in the Premier League with his areal prowess and relentless aggression he showed on the pitch.
The striker also had stints with New York Red Bulls and Shanghai Shenhua before heading home to Australia.
Cahill is best known however for his exploits with the Socceroos where he is the all-time leading goal scorer. The striker is only one of a few players to score at three World Cups including one of the great goals in competition history against the Netherlands.
