School Holiday Clinics
The arrival of Melbourne Heart FC to Morwell on the 6th July will allow young boys and girls the chance to meet some of the players at FREE school holiday program.
Held on the 6th and 7th July, children aged 5 to 12 will have the opportunity to attend 4 clinics located in Morwell, Churchill, Traralgon and Newborough (Moe).
Players will be required to wear their training gear, warm clothing and bring football boots and drink bottle.
Tuesday 6 July 2010: 1:30 – 3 pm
• Latrobe City Sports and Entertainment Stadium, Crinigan Road, Morwell
• Hazelwood South Reserve, Tramway Road, Churchill.
Wednesday 7 July 2010: 1:30 – 3 pm
• Harold Preston Reserve, Davidson Street, Traralgon
• W.H.Bharrage Reserve, John Field Drive, Newborough (Moe)

‘Coach the Coach- Seminar

Presenting the ‘Coach the Coach- Seminars Melbourne Heart FC invite local football coaches to listen and interact with Head coach John van-t Schip, Jesper Olsen, Ante Milicic and John Didulica who will educate local football clubs on the latest tactical and technical innovations in the game and MHFC involvement to help develop young players for the future. Topics to be covered are:
• MHFC Club: Background & History, Football Structure, Philosophy & Values.
• Training Methods and Tactical Ambitions at MHFC
• 4-3-3 Outlined & Explained.
• Training Methods for young players with Fitness Tips.
• Identified gaps in Australian young players (strengths & weaknesses).
• Young players we-re developing at MHFC.
• The type of player MHFC aim to create.
