2019/20 Hyundai A-League fixture update

Football Federation Australia (FFA) has released a fixture update following the announcement of a new Free-to-Air Broadcast Partner in the ABC.

There have been two amendments (Rounds 11 and 21) made to Melbourne City’s home fixtures. The first of those will be in Round 11 on Saturday 21 December 2019, as City’s annual Christmas Derby with cross-town rivals Melbourne Victory is now scheduled to kick-off at 5:00pm (AEDT).

In Round 21 on Sunday 1 March 2020, City’s clash with Brisbane Roar at AAMI Park will now kick-off at 6:30pm.

There will be three City away fixtures (Rounds 10, 12 and 14) with amended kick-off times. City’s clash with Newcastle Jets on Sunday 15 December 2019 at McDonald Jones Stadium has been scheduled for a 6:30pm kick-off. Similarly, City’s clash with Sydney FC on Sunday 29 December 2019 at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium will also kick-off at 6:30pm.

In Round 14, City’s match with Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday 11 January 2020 will kick-off at 5:00pm AEDT (4:00pm local time).

FFA and FOX SPORTS today announced that the ABC will be the official Free-to-Air Television Broadcast Partner for the upcoming Hyundai A-League season and Westfield W-League season.
