The Clash

Melbourne City FC will be looking to secure back-to-back wins when they face Perth Glory at nib Stadium on Tuesday night.

Following three consecutive weeks without a win, Warren Joyce’s side bounced back onto the winner’s list with a 2-1 win over the Wellington Phoenix at AAMI Park on Saturday.

Despite trailing 1-0 at half-time, second-half substitute Daniel Arzani combined with Ross McCormack to lead a spirited second-half performance to overcome a gallant Phoenix outfit.

Joyce’s side will be up against a Glory outfit that will be desperate to respond from a disappointing fortnight.

Kenny Lowe’s side has suffered two big losses, going down 6-0 to Sydney FC before suffering a 3-0 loss to Adelaide United last Friday night.

With City eager to cement a spot in the top-four and the Glory desperate to return to winning ways, there is no doubt Tuesday night is a must-watch.
