A-League Team News: City’s Round 3 squad

Thumbnail

The team is in for Friday night’s clash with Sydney. See who’s in and who’s out ahead of our clash with the reigning Premiers.

It’s an unchanged 18 that will be heading to AAMI Park on Friday night with Warren Joyce naming the same squad that took on Central Coast.

The successful returns of Scott Jamieson and Dario Vidosic was positive news for City with the experienced duo changing the game off the bench. Expect more minutes from Jamieson and Vidosic this week as they face a strong Sydney outfit.

Our returning Young Socceroos will be assessed on whether they will be fit enough for selection ahead of the contest with the short week working against the seven players that were in Indonesia for the AFC U19 Championships.

This means Idrus Abdulahi and Anthony Lesiots will be in the extended side that will be cut down by two 90 minutes before kick-off.
