The return of Aziz Behich has Melbourne Heart’s Head Coach John Aloisi excited at potential attacking options.

Melbourne Heart FC Head Coach John Aloisi has welcomed the return of former left-back Aziz Behich on a loan deal for the 2013-14 Hyundai A-League season.

Aloisi said Behich would give his squad plenty of flexibility and attacking options, praising the 22-year-old’s return after a stint at Bursaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

“Everyone knows how much we like him at the Club and what I think of him,” Aloisi said.

“He loves Melbourne Heart so it-s great to have him back, he-s a player that we missed.

“He gives us so much going forward and he also brings a winning spirit that lifts the players when we are down in a game.”

Behich returns to Melbourne from Europe tonight and will commence training as early as tomorrow and could give flankers, such as Iain Ramsay, licence to go forward.

“I-ve got options, which is great, it-s always good to have options – I can play Iain a little bit higher up,” Aloisi said.

The left-back represents Heart’s 20th squad member for the upcoming season; however, Aloisi still has three potential positions to fill, including two international places.

“I-ve got quite a few wingers and a few full backs so the squad is looking strong,” Aloisi said.

“We still need a couple of players, I still need a midfielder and a striker and I think once we get that together our squad will be full.”
