Melbourne Heart FC Head Coach John Aloisi is eagerly anticipating his trip to Bendigo this weekend as he hosts a coaching conference as part of the FFV-s Regional Challenge Cup.

Aloisi will run a coaching workshop open to all local Bendigo coaches as well as coaches attending the Regional Challenge Cup from around Victoria.

Over 500 of country Victoria-s best young players are expected to attend, with teams from Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong, Cobram, Goulburn North East, Echuca-Moama, Shepparton, Mildura, Swan Hill and Warrnambool invited to compete.

“I-m looking forward to heading up to Bendigo. It-s always good to talk to people who love the game and are willing to listen and learn,” Aloisi said.

“Hopefully I can pass some knowledge on and I can-t wait.”
FFV Technical Director and former New Zealand national player Sean Douglas said that Aloisi-s seminar was not to be missed.

“I-m really excited to have a coach of John-s calibre attending the Regional Challenge Cup,” said Douglas.

“Melbourne Heart are one of the finest exemplars of the FFA National Coaching Curriculum in the A-League and it-s what we encourage in Victoria.

“The FFA National Coaching Curriculum is the best method for maximizing player development and we want as many community coaches as possible to learn what it involves.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for regional coaches to learn from one of the best and the more coaches we can educate the better the players will be.”
