In this week’s match-up we take a look at David Williams and Joshua Brillante, the two No.15-s set to battle it out at Hunter Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Williams has been in stunning form as of late, scoring a total of six goals in Melbourne Heart FC-s past five games. Every time Williams has got on the score sheet this season, Melbourne Heart have not lost the match.

Melbourne Heart do not hold the best record in Newcastle, with a win at Hunter Stadium a feeling the Club has not yet experienced, but with a run of five wins in a row there has never been a better time for the Red and White to break that unwanted statistic.

Meanwhile, despite playing in a different position to Williams, Brillante has been just as an influential figure in his club-s season. The Young Socceroo has missed just two games for the Jets so far in 2014, one of those being the 3-1 win by Heart at AAMI Park in January.

Both players have made 16 starts for their respective clubs this season, both notching up with an assist each, but Williams has scored 10 goals compared to none by Brillante. In fact, Brillante is yet to score an A-League goal. The last time he found the back of the net was against El Salvador in last year-s U20 World Cup in Turkey.

Williams has conceded 18 fouls this season compared to Brillante-s 23, but the Newcastle man has only picked up one yellow card while our no.15 has been shown a total of three.

Both are effective in possession, with Brillante currently the second best passer in his sides midfield, with Williams ranked the highest out of Melbourne Heart-s attacking options.

The two No.15-s are definitely set to be amongst all the action when the Jets and Heart fight it out on Saturday at Hunter Stadium in Newcastle. Tune in on Fox Sports from 5pm AEST, or our Twitter feed @MelbourneHeart to follow all the action.
