Tomorrow night, there will be more than just three points on the line, but a finals place at stake as well.

With two games remaining, we are well placed to qualify for the finals for the first time in our history, which would be a wonderful achievement for our Club, particularly given all the tireless work undertaken by all involved at Melbourne Heart FC over the last two and a half years.

Establishing this Club was obviously a great challenge, but I-m proud and honoured to have been part of it, and will leave with great memories of my time here in Australia.

Our first season gave us a taste of what was required to excel at this level, which has allowed to us take some massive strides forward this season in introducing young players and further engraining our style of game.

If we were to qualify for the finals series, it would certainly be great for the Club, a fresh piece of history, and it would certainly be fantastic for the coach as well!

While we may feel we deserve a finals place given some of the fantastic performances we have produced this season, in the end, all the teams in the competition share a similar story.

Each has produced a strong run of form at one time or another, and also suffered from a down turn as well. We simply need to make sure we are in the right position at the end of the season.

It-s no use saying, ‘we were playing some wonderful football-, as ultimately, the ladder will tell us everything we need to know.
