Heading into our match with Wellington Phoenix, I hope we can take the form of our last two games at home against Brisbane Roar and Central Coast Mariners.

Heading into our match with Wellington Phoenix, I hope we can take the form of our last two games at home against Brisbane Roar and Central Coast Mariners.

While we only picked up one point from those matches, our team played well, producing the type of football we need to get back on track.

Every game is a big game, regardless of opponent, due to the evenness of the competition. Wellington was just outside the top six not long ago but now find themselves in third spot.

While Brisbane and Central Coast are a level above the rest of the competition, all the other teams are incredibly competitive, each taking turns to enter a strong run of form.

From now until the end of the home and away season, every game is like a final, and that-s the way I see it. We need to try and collect every single point which is possible, playing for three points each week. We won-t sit back, while our opponents play and hold possession.

There are a few things we will look to change in our starting eleven, as we fielded a unique formation against Brisbane Roar which was tailored specifically for that opponent. We may change system which means we will need to alter personnel as well.

Wellington is a formidable opponent at home and away nowadays, and is an extremely experienced team. They have played together for a while under the same coach, and the atmosphere within the team is good.

They are a tough opponent which knows how to get results.
