Melbourne Heart FC striker Eli Babalj is in the Netherlands trialling with Dutch Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar.
On his return from Red Star Belgrade during the 2012-13 Hyundai A-League season, Babalj signed on with Heart for the 2013-14 season.
However, both parties agreed that the player could travel to Europe during the off season to conduct trials, if offered the opportunity.
