Brianna Davey

13/01/1995 (age 20)

At only 20-years-of-age, the commanding shot stopper is regarded as one of the most talented ‘keepers to grace the Westfield W-League.

Coming from an AFL background, Davey adopted the round ball just before her teenage years, going onto represent the national team at various age levels before making her senior debut at 16.

Equipped with exceptional reflexes and distribution, Davey made her first W-League appearance for Melbourne Victory in 2010, before assuming duties as the Club’s number one shot-stopper the following year.

With close to 40 W-League appearances, the ‘keeper was an integral member of Victory’s 2013-14 Championship season.

After narrowly missing out on selection in the Matilda’s 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup squad, Davey returned to AFL and was taken as pick no.1 in the first official AFL Women’s mini-draft, before signing for City in August.
