Melbourne City will be celebrating Harmony Day through the annual Harmony Round during the Club’s Round 24 clash with Western Sydney Wanderers at AAMI Park.

Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity and Melbourne City will be undertaking a number of activities throughout the week and on match day to recognise the diverse cultures that make up the football club, the city of Melbourne and Australia.

City will kick-off celebrations on Harmony Day, holding a clinic at Charles La Trobe College. The community team will then hold their popular ‘I Speak Football’ program on Thursday in Fitzroy and Tarneit and on Friday they will be heading to the Brunswick English Language School.

Match day at AAMI Park will be full of colour and fun at City Square with the Ugandan Acholi Dancers and Burundi Drummers while St Paul’s Choir will be performing before the player’s walk-out at AAMI Park.

City’s players will also create video content encouraging fans to come down to AAMI Park in their native language.

Melbourne City FC take on Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday at AAMI Park, kick-off 7.50pm.
