City confirm departure of Craig Noone

After two seasons at City, we can confirm the departure of winger Craig Noone.

Noone leaves the Club as an A-League Champion having played an instrumental role in this season’s Premiership and Championship double.

Craig Noone said:

“I joined City to win silverware and I’m so proud of what this fantastic group has achieved over the last two years. Winning the Premiership and Championship has been an incredible experience and I will always remember it.

“I want to thank everyone at the Club. The players, coaches, staff and the City fans who will always have a special place in my heart.”

Melbourne City FC Director of Football Michael Petrillo said:

“Craig has been great servant of the Club and I want to thank him for his service throughout his time at City and wish him all the best.”

In total, Noone made 55 appearances, scored 12 goals and provided a further 17 assists.

Craig Noone celebrates winning the A-League Championship with the fans
