Melbourne City will continue it’s march towards the A-League season on Saturday as it takes on Western United at Morshead Park in Ballarat.
It’ll be City’s second clash against their Western Victorian rivals as Patrick Kisnorbo’s side looks to continue its unbeaten pre-season ahead of its Round 1 clash with Sydney FC at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday 30 December.
City’s last encounter with Western United saw Jamie Maclaren and Andrew Nabbout headline the 2-1 pre-season win in November and the A-League side will look to continue their unbeaten run against the Green and Black since their inception.
The match – which has been organised by Western United and the City of Ballarat – will have a COVIDsafe fan capacity of 115 and will be only open to Western United members.

Melbourne City will have one final pre-season match in Melbourne next Friday night with all details to be confirmed shortly.
