Melbourne City FC will face cross-town rivals Melbourne Victory in the Semi Finals of the Westfield FFA Cup.
City qualified for its second consecutive Semi Final after goals to Michael Jakobsen, Bruno Fornaroli, Tim Cahill and Fernando Brandan secured a resounding 4-1 win over Western Sydney Wanderers at AAMI Park.
John van’t Schip’s side will look to book its place in the FFA Cup Final for the first time at the expense of Victory, who progressed to the last four of the tournament with a 2-0 win over Bentleigh Greens on Tuesday night.
Canberra Olympic will host Sydney FC in the other Semi Final tie.
Specific match details in regards to venue, date and kick-off times for both Semi Final ties will be announced in the coming days.
The Semi Finals will see matches played on two nights with one match per night. The possible match dates for the Semi Finals are October 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th.
Both matches will be LIVE and exclusive on FOX SPORTS.
