Four City Football Schools coaches have arrived in Melbourne to help boys and girls improve their skills, build self-confidence, make new friends and be part of a team.
City Football Schools coaches are professionally trained to the highest standards and are experts at getting the best out of young players of all abilities.
Melbourne City FC is making a special offer to local clubs and schools that register 15 or more members into the City Football Schools program in the July school holidays.
All clubs that register 15 or more players will be eligible to provide 12 Ball Kids (aged 12 – 15 yrs) for a Melbourne City home game and will have the opportunity to have a Melbourne City player visit their club. Players aged 6 – 17 years will be catered for by the clinics.
Everyone that registers for the City Football Schools will go in the draw to win a limited edition T Shirt signed by David Villa.

Melbourne City are giving young aspiring footballers who sign up to the City Football Schools the opportunity to win a limited edition Melbourne City T-Shirt, signed by David Villa.
Sign up for the City Football Schools in Melbourne and go into the draw to win. Those who have already signed up to the clinics automatically enter the draw. The winner will be selected at random.
About City Football Schools
City Football Schools is built on the philosophy and training program of the Manchester City Football Academy and aims to provide the best football coaching available to 6-17 year-olds.
When will the City Football Schools run in Melbourne?
City Football Schools will be held at locations across Melbourne from the June 30 – July 11.
The dates and locations of the City Football Schools are as follows:
– Bulleen (Bulleen Lions Soccer Club): June 30 – July 2 (three-day clinic)
– Kingston (Kingston Heath Soccer Facility): July 3 – July 4 (two-day clinic)
– Darebin (Darebin International Sports Centre): July 7 – July 9 (three-day clinic)
– Werribee (Werribee City Soccer Club/Galvin Park): July 10 – July 11 (two-day clinic)
Clinic Sessions?
Each clinic runs for two hours. Each day is broken into three age groups:
9am – 11am: 6-9yrs
11.30am – 1.30pm: 10-13yrs
2pm – 4pm: 14-17yrs
What is provided?
Each clinic will run for two hours and be conducted by UEFA A and B Licence Coaches from City Football Schools, alongside Melbourne City FC coaching staff. Each participant will receive a City Football Schools T- Shirt.
