Melbourne City hosted its Premier Schools Cup competition this week, inviting some of the top schools to compete for the title.

13 schools across the state in both the girls and boys competitions went head-to-head at Epping Stadium with some of our Melbourne City College of Football Affiliate Schools represented in both tournaments.

CRC Sydenham took out the girls competition with a gripping 5-4 penalty win over St. Monica’s College while Overnewton College prevailed in the boys final 3-0 over Sydenham.

Overnewton consisted of a number of City academy talents including Thomas Pisani and Ben Pierias and were coached by former student and Melbourne City College of Football mentored coach, Crisdion Krstevski.

The Club would like to congratulate the schools and players that participated in the event this year!
