After completing the mandatory New South Wales Health quarantine period with the three Melbourne teams, Melbourne City FC has departed Sydney – basing themselves in the Hunter Valley for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.

The playing group and travelling staff will call Lovedale home for the next five weeks, travelling to Sydney the night before a game for its three remaining fixtures and Finals Series.

City will train out of Maitland Sports Ground and use the facility that is home to the Newcastle Jets W-League side, as well as hosting NRL side Newcastle Knights.

The Club would like to thank Maitland City Council for their support in the use of their facility over the next month.
