Melbourne City FC wrap up the A-League team’s Townsville tour on Sunday with a match against Wellington Phoenix.
City will meet Round 1 A-League opponent, Wellington Phoenix, on Sunday September 11 at the Townsville Sports Reserve.
City defeated Townsville’s own PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland team, Northern Fury FC 4-1 on Wednesday at the same venue.
The pre-season tour will form part of a broader initiative to provide opportunities for young footballers from North Queensland to connect with Melbourne City FC.
