Melbourne City Football Club is launching Cityzens Giving, a brand new program funded by our annual revenues that allows City fans to extend the ‘football effect’ to areas of need across the globe.
From day one, we have had community in our heart. As we grow, our commitment to communities locally and overseas continues to deepen.
Every Cityzen has been given $9 to invest in six charity football projects – run by young people for young people – that use the beautiful game to tackle difficult and damaging problems for young people today.
Watch the video above and, if you’re a Cityzen, log in to the Cityzens portal to give the gift of football by pledging your charity fund to projects that inspire you most.
Cityzens Giving projects are in Melbourne, New York, Manchester, Barranquilla, Cape Town and Kuala Lumpur. The window to pledge your support closes on Wednesday 24 December.
