Cityzens Giving for Recovery: We’re at half-time

City supporters from all over the world have been generously donating and fundraising to help our communities get back on their feet as part of our Cityzens Giving for Recovery campaign.

To date, over $1,000,000 (£580,000) has been raised for recovery-linked projects in Melbourne, Manchester and around the world, supporting communities near each of City Football Group’s clubs.

We are only at half-time. You can still get involved.

PLAY YOUR PART. DONATE NOW.

CFG are continuing to match donations dollar for dollar until the end of the season (to a limit of £500,000 match funding across all projects).

The generosity of the Melbourne City family and partners is already helping to change lives.

In Melbourne, young people and families particularly affected by the pandemic are being supported as we ensure that they have continued access to education, physical activity and healthy snacks.

As lockdown ends, the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to many hasn’t. It’s now our responsibility to help members of our local community get back on their feet.

Around the globe, projects are supporting communities in diverse ways, including the provision of free healthy meals for vulnerable families. In Manchester, young people particularly affected by the pandemic are being supported through a tailored programme that uses football to improve the mental health of local young people and reduce isolation.

Melbourne City FC and City in the Community Melbourne want to say a massive thank you to our fans and partners for your support so far. Stay tuned for stories from our projects and more ways to get involved.
