Melbourne City FC and our partner providers are now delivering football coaching as part of the Sporting Schools program. Schools are encouraged to register for funding from the Australian Sports Commission and then to book a Melbourne City clinic.

Melbourne City Goalkeeper Academy
Evolving from the Club’s regular City in the Community Goalkeeper Clinics, which have attracted over 250 aspiring junior goalkeepers in the past five years, Academy participants will now receive dedicated tuition from Melbourne City FC goalkeeping coaches across each week of the local school semester.
Based on City Football Group and Melbourne City FC philosophies and goalkeeping techniques, the Melbourne City FC GK Academy will be overseen by Melbourne City goalkeeper coach Joey Didulica.
The academy sessions will be run with the support of Melbourne City coaches and players including NYL/NPL coach Sam Frangos

Melbourne City FC Goalkeeper Academy Details
Time : Sessions run for 1 hour including warm-up and warm-down
Location : City Football Academy – Melbourne, La Trobe University Lower Playing Fields, Bundoora (Car Park 2A)
Ages : 5-16 years
*Limited to 6 players per session in order to maximise coaching interaction
Total package includes GK Academy sessions, gloves, training top, cap and water bottle per player
Casual sessions and group bookings for Clubs available on request.
