Club Update: Sunday’s Semi Final

AL

By now you would have seen the decision by the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) to move Sunday’s Semi Final to Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in NSW.

We are, alongside every City fan, extremely disappointed by this decision and we want you to know that we did everything in our power to keep the game at home.

Our City boys are as focused as ever and we will be backing them in to get the result on Sunday afternoon. As always, we’re behind them no matter if the game is played at AAMI Park, Jubilee Stadium, or on the moon.

If as we’re striving for, Grand Final qualification is achieved, we’ll once again pick up the fight to have crowds at home.

Now it’s about you and how do we support the boys in Melbourne. We are in the process of organising a live screening venue which will be a ticketed event and offered to members first. More information to follow shortly.

If you are a 2020/21 member and you are already planning on travelling to the match or are already based in NSW, we have a limited number of complimentary tickets available. Contact us at promotions@melbournecityfc.com.au with your full name, phone number, email address and membership number. Tickets will be issued on a strictly first come, first serve basis.

Finally, we want you to send a message to the boys. You can email your messages to info@melbournecityfc.com.au and we will make sure the boys see them before the semi-final.

You’ll be able to watch Sunday afternoon’s Semi Final live and free via Kayo Freebies and it will also be broadcast live on Fox Sports and the My Football Live app, with delayed coverage on ABC.
