Melbourne City FC’s community department have been performing a range of community initiatives and programs over the past month to bring an enriching football experience to all levels of the game.

Melbourne City FC Touranment for Schools winners

Overnewton Anglican Community College and Pascoe Vale Girls College attended Melbourne City FC’s match against Adelaide to accept their Melbourne City FC Tournaments for Schools trophies. Melbourne City FC defender Connor Chapman presented both schools their trophies before kick-off at AAMI Park.

 

Help Kick Out Ebola

Melbourne City FC is one of the organisations supporting local club Panthers FC in their tournament to raise funds for Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders) who are helping people afflicted with the Ebola virus. Head down to BT Connor Reserve, Reservoir on Saturday 15 November from 10.00am – 5.30pm to support the cause. Alternatively you can donate via www.msf.org.au

 

City Football Schools

City Football Schools will be returning in January 2015. Keep an eye out for further information in the coming weeks.

 

SEDA

Thank you to the Melbourne City FC SEDA students who have helped us out this year in work placements at as volunteers. The club values their assistance and trusts that we have helped students gain a better understanding of work in the sport industry. We look forward to inducting a new crop in 2015!
