Ten schools participated in the second edition of the tournament which saw year seven and eight students compete in the gala day competition.

Overnewton faced Marymede in the final with the high school team from Keilor proving too strong for the South Morang Catholic college, running out 3-1 winners.

The tournament was played in good spirits by all sides on the day with a great exhibition of talent and fair play.

Students from Overnewton will have their trophy presentation at a Melbourne City FC match during the upcoming Hyundai A-League season, with players from all sides welcomed to attend the match.

In the minor final, Parade College beat St Josephs College in a penalty shootout, with both sides close to winners in normal time.

The Club would like to thank Football Federation Victoria, SEDA and La Trobe University for their support of the tournament with the event being an overwhelming success.
