Only 27 days remain until our blockbuster opening season derby against Melbourne Victory, as the countdown to the eighth Hyundai A-League campaign hots up.
Heart, along with all the other nine competing teams, will play 27 matches each throughout the 2012-13 season, with Heart playing 13 matches at home and 14 away throughout the season.
All home matches will be played at AAMI Park, while this year the Red & White will play a ‘regional fixture- at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin, which is Wellington Phoenix-s home match, on Monday March 3.
Last season, Heart secured a finals berth with nine wins, 10 draws and eight losses from its 27 matches, earning 37 points and scoring 35 goals along the way.
One of Heart-s off-season signings, Liberian international Patrick Gerhardt, is 27 years old and celebrated his birthday on 31 July this year.
Heart secured Gerhardt-s signature on 22 June, from Bosnia and Herzegovinian club side FK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo.
Last season, midfielder Craig Goodwin wore the number 27.
