Melbourne City FC Donations Policy
Melbourne City FC currently supports three organisations – Street Soccer, Save the Children and the Heart Foundation in addition to a number of other organisations through our Community work.
The Club’s commitment to our values of community, respect, tolerance and a healthy lifestyle is highlighted in our partnership with The Big Issue’s ‘Community Street Soccer Program’, which uses “the power of sport to promote social inclusion and personal change for homeless, marginalised and disadvantaged people”.
As we receive a large number of requests for donations, our policy is that only Bona Fide Charity organisations and registered football (soccer) clubs will be considered for donations.
We are not in a position to donate signed jerseys or other merchandise.
There are opportunities for members and supporters to attend open training sessions and Family Days where players maybe available to sign merchandise.
For fundraising requests from Charities and registered football (soccer) clubs:
- The request must be submitted on the official form (which can be downloaded below) with the organisation‘s name and address and a statement of where the fundraising proceeds will go.
- Requests must be submitted at least six weeks in advance to allow time for processing
Please note that monetary donations and sponsorship requests are not accepted, nor do we accept merchandise sent to us for signing.
Charities requesting the support of Melbourne City FC
Melbourne City FC undertakes an annual review of our charity partners at the conclusion of every season. Charities are invited to send partnership proposals to us by April 30 each year.
