E-League set for Match Day 2 challenge

Part two of the 2020 E-League season will be back this Saturday as City’s esports players Marcus Gomes and Peter Saisanas look to qualify for the 2020 E-League Finals Series.

City currently sit equal second in the standings, behind league leaders Sydney FC who are yet to taste defeat this season with the top six will qualifying for the Finals Series at Fortress Melbourne on Saturday 9 May.

Gomes and Saisanas have 12 points on the league table alongside Wellington and Victory and will have a good chance to lock in a strong seeding heading into the E-League Finals Series.

City will face Brisbane, Adelaide, Central Coast and Victory in the remaining fixtures in what is set to be a tight race to catch Sydney FC for the Premiers’ Plate.
