Melbourne Heart FC confirms Orlando Engelaar sustained a fracture to his leg during yesterday’s pre-season match against Brisbane Roar.
Engelaar has been given approval to fly back to Melbourne from Lismore this afternoon to undergo further medical assessment.
Engelaar will meet with the Club-s doctor and medical staff in Melbourne, who will determine the full extent of the injury.
The Club will be making no further comment until a final diagnosis is completed.
