Melbourne City FC has drawn fellow Hyundai A-League outfit Wellington Phoenix in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 16.
After progressing to the second stage of the knockout competition, courtesy of a 2-1 win over Edgeworth Eagles, City face an Elimination Final replay against Ernie Merrick’s side.
Phoenix advanced to the Round of 16 after defeating Central Coast Mariners on Tuesday night.
Goals from Josh Kennedy and Harry Novillo gave City passage into the Semi-Finals in the A-League Finals Series, against the Phoenix, in May. What will the outcome be this time around?
