Melbourne City FC will make the short trip to Heidelberg to face NPL Victoria side Heidelberg United on Tuesday, September 29 in the Westfield FFA Cup 2015 Quarter Finals.

In what looms to be an exciting all-Victorian encounter, the NPL Victoria qualifying finalists welcome City to the Olympic Village stadium for the knockout clash , as John van’t Schip’s men look to secure a place in the last four of the competition.

The match, which kicks off at 8pm AEST, will be broadcast LIVE on FOX SPORTS, along with updates and live crosses to the other Quarter Final clash between Perth Glory and Western Sydney Wanderers at Dorrien Gardens.

City qualified for the last eight of the competition in emphatic style, after goals to Aaron Mooy, Harry Novillo, Bruno Fornaroli, Robert Koren and Wade Dekker secured a crushing 5-1 victory over Wellington Phoenix in the Round of 16.

Heidelberg United will play at home for the second successive match in the competition, after booking their passage to the Quarter Finals with a memorable 2-0 Round of 16 win over Sydney Olympic.

The clash will be a last chance for George Katsakis’s men to remain in the hunt for silverware this season, after Heidelberg were eliminated from the NPL Victoria finals after a penalty-shootout defeat to Pascoe Vale on Sunday.

Ticketing information for the Quarter Final clash will be released soon. Visit http://www.theffacup.com.au/tickets for details.
