Football Federation Australia (FFA) has confirmed that Saturday’s Westfield W-League Round 10 fixture against Perth Glory has been moved to City Football Academy, Melbourne on Sunday 7 January at 4.30pm.
Due to high forecast temperatures across the state on Saturday, the FFA has decided to move the game originally billed as a double header at AAMI Park on Saturday.
“Changes to Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League, and FOXTEL Y-League scheduling have been made with the interests of the players and match officials, as well as supporters and club staff in mind,” said Head of Hyundai A-League & Westfield W-League, Greg O’Rourke.
“The safety and comfort of players, as well as those working at or attending FFA sanctioned matches, is of paramount importance to FFA.”
Ticketing details for the match will be confirmed in due course.
