Don’t miss out on seeing Jamie Maclaren, Tom Glover and the rest of Patrick Kisnorbo’s squad in action!

With uncertainty still remaining over the fixtures to come due to COVID-19 related border closures, why not take the opportunity now to see City in action!

AL v Western

A big three points on offer

Unfortunately our last game saw us suffer a 2-0 loss away from home to Adelaide United. This came after we kicked off our season with a 0-1 win away to Brisbane thanks to a Connor Metcalfe goal.

Our first home game provides us with a massive opportunity to pick up a valuable three points and we will be boosted by having our home fans back in the stands!

Kisnorbo’s men will be eager to put in a strong performance after almost two weeks since our last fixture in Adelaide.

A chance to continue our dominance over Western United

The 2019/20 season was Western United’s first in the A-League and City still is yet to drop any points against them, winning all four of the fixtures between teams.

Striker Jamie Maclaren particularly enjoyed coming up against Western, banging in seven goals across those meetings. He scored in every clash, including doubles in all of the first three of those matches.

After winning his second A-League Golden Boot last season, Maclaren is yet to get off the mark this this campaign so he and City fans will be hoping for a similar performance to last years’.

Fans’ first glimpse at some new faces!

Being our first A-League home match, City fans will finally get to see the Club’s new signings up close at AAMI Park!

Aiden O’Neill has been solid in midfield and Ben Garuccio has been reliable at right back since returning to the Club ahead of this season.

Japanese attacker Naoki Tsubaki has played a part off of the bench in both of City’s first two fixtures and City fans can expect to see more of him in action on Saturday night.

Prime-time City football!

This fixture was originally scheduled to be played on Sunday but due to forced changes to the fixture due to border closures, it will now be played in prime time on Saturday night.

It is shaping up to be a perfect night for football and you won’t want to miss it, click here to secure your tickets!

If you are unable to attend AAMI Park on Saturday night, the match will be live on Fox Sports, Kayo and streaming on the My Football Live app.
