With squad members and support staff departing from Melbourne with Etihad Airways on Sunday and Monday, the squad spent Tuesday recovering from the long-haul journey at the team hotel.
On Wednesday, the team had an early morning pool session, followed by the first training session at Carrington Training Centre.
The session commenced in the late afternoon in Manchester, with Manchester City’s first-team having used the facility earlier in the day.
While the Club’s Melbourne-based players settled into their new surroundings, new signing Damien Duff joined Melbourne City for the first time.
