Melbourne City FC will host its annual Family Day, powered by Big M, on Saturday 13 October at the City Football Academy ahead of the 2018/19 A-League and W-League seasons.
Powered by our Official Grassroots and Official Recovery Drink Partner, Big M, we’re looking forward to our biggest Family Day yet with a range of exciting activities, events and competitions planned for all City fans to enjoy throughout the day.
Head down to the City Football Academy from 11:00am and watch Bruno Fornaroli, Dario Vidosic and our A-League boys prepare for the new season during an open-training session on the Elite Training Pitch.
There will be plenty of fun activities for the entire family to enjoy. Create your unique Big M Big Moment using the magic of a green screen and share your best photos on social media on the day for your chance to win a Melbourne City football and other awesome prizes.
You can mingle with your favourite A-League and W-League players as they are presented with their 2018/19 jerseys on stage, and head to the Hostplus signing marquee to get all your City memorabilia signed by the team.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Our awesome club partners will be holding several exciting activations, including:
- See how fast you can score a goal at the McDonald’s golden goals;
- Visit the MatchWorks photobooth to have your photo taken with your City heroes and enter the competition for your chance to be a mascot at a City home match;
- Win vouchers to attend a fitness class at La Trobe Sports Centre, thanks to La Trobe University;
- Win prizes and experiences courtesy of Etihad Airways, Nissan and Dreamstreet Lending.
Melbourne City merchandise will be on sale, including our brand new 2018/19 Nike Third Jersey, while you can also head to our membership marquee and find out how you can become a City member ahead of the new season.

Parking: Limited on-street parking is available around the City Football Academy facility. Additional parking is available in the La Trobe University campus, allocated in car park P3 and within the Lower Playing Fields.
Please note, there is no public parking within in the immediate City Football Academy facility.
