Gomes embarks on FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final

Melbourne City Esports Player Marcus Gomes is set to compete in the 2019 FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final in London as he pits himself against the world’s best FIFA players in the biggest tournament on the globe.

Australia’s number 1 XBOX player will compete in the 32-man tournament on both XBOX and PS4 to determine the overall FIFA World Champion. The format will see Gomes compete on August 2 and 3 in the Group Stage as he looks to qualify for the knockout stages with the Final Showdown to be held on August 4.

Gomes’ coach will be his E-League teammate, Peter Saisanas who will be sitting by his side providing tactical support to Gomes throughout the tournament.
