Melbourne City Esports players Marcus Gomes and Josh Wood are in action in the Gfinity Esports Australia FIFA18 eWorld Cup Licensed Qualifiers on Friday night, with the chance to qualify for the global tournament.
The duo finished first and second in their respective consoles, seeing them head to London for the Australian championship finals and the chance to take out a share of $15,000.
This will be Gomes’ last chance to qualify for the FIFA18 eWorld Cup with Wood already picking up his qualifying spot after taking out the PS4 division in the E-League.
