Harry Novillo

Harry Novillo arrived at Melbourne City FC as an injury replacement for Damien Duff and has brought strength and pace to the side in the final third.

The Frenchman is a product of the Olympique Lyonnais youth academy and has represented France at U17 and U19 levels. At just 18, Novillo played his first senior match for Lyon against Monaco in 2010 and since then, the winger has appeared for sides like Gazelec Ajaccio, Mons and most recently Clermont.

Upon joining the Club during the 2014/15 Hyundai A-League season, the 23-year-old quickly established himself in Melbourne City FC’s starting line-up, earning eight starts and netting three times in his 10 matches.

An athletic, quick and dynamic winger, Novillo impressed fans of the A-League with a handful of influential performances, his appetite for goal and powerful finishing.

With a strong physique and a willingness to shoot, the former French academy product netted a memorable goal from distance against Western Sydney Wanderers, while his last goal came in the 2-0 Elimination Final win over Wellington Phoenix.

He will look to bring a killer instinct in front of goal adorning the number nine jersey.
