Have an eye for design? Get creative and design our third kit in our latest No. 12 Best Fan competition!
For the September instalment of our No. 12 Best Fan competition, we-re setting members the exciting challenge of creating a unique Heart Third Jersey which encapsulates the club-s values, spirit and connection with its fans and membership base.
Using the blank template our kit sponsor Kappa has provided, we-re giving fans the chance from now until Friday 12 October to get their creative juices flowing and produce a strip worthy of the first team.
Kappa has announced it will produce the winning entry, set to be worn by the players for their Round 22 showdown against Perth Glory at AAMI Park on February 9 next year.
The winner will be announced in December and will also receive a copy of their self-designed strip, signed by the first team.
This opportunity allows fans hands to interact with our first team and gives members the chance to show their true colours.
In order to be eligible to have your kit design selected, you must be a Melbourne Heart member.
We-re looking for a professional design, which will fit with the same look and feel as our home and away jerseys, evoke the passion from the fans and encapsulate the ideals and values of Heart.
Ideally we want the feature colour to be similar to last year-s colour palate, which featured charcoal grey and a splash of red and white (see template for download, below).
We would love you to be as creative with your designs as possible, but try not to stray too far from a basic design.
We will select a number of finalists based on our favourite designs, before we allow our very own first team coach John Aloisi and captain Fed to select their favourite winning design.

1. First download the blank Kappa template here
2. Edit the blank template using photo-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Paint or other photo-editing software, using the colour palate as your guideline.
3. Send your finished entry to: kappacomp@melbourneheartfc.com.au
