Melbourne Heart FC remains confident an elusive win is on the horizon despite another gut wrenching draw on Friday night with Adelaide United.

With a win seemingly on the cards, Spase Dilevski-s goal in the last 15 minutes of the match denied a Heart its opening three points of the campaign, as the side seeks to begin its charge up the Hyundai A-League table.

While performances have improved over the last three weeks, with dominant displays over Victory and Sydney FC highlighting potential within the squad, a win has been beyond reach.

Young defender Brendan Hamill, who scored from long range during the weekend-s match to notch his debut Hyundai A-League goal, is confident Heart will triumph sooner rather than later.

Hamill believes results will follow if the squad continue to execute the basics and retain faith in each other.

“We know that the victory is going to come sooner or later … we are unbeaten in three matches,” Hamill said.

“I suppose it has been tough, but we are a team, we stick together and work for each other.”

“As long as we keep doing the right things, work for each other and play as a team we will be getting on top pretty soon.”
