Melbourne Heart FC drew 1-1 with Hyundai A-League side Perth Glory after both sides struck in the closing minutes at Hyundai Stadium, Mandurah.

Glory prevailed 1-0 when the two sides met in windy and rainy conditions on Wednesday night at Intiga Stadium in Inglewood and the teams battled tough weather conditions again this afternoon.

Melbourne Heart were close to capturing a late win as Red and White captain Harry Kewell struck a low free kick with six minutes remaining.

However, the home side struck back in the 88th minute through a thunderbolt from Steven McGarry and the teams had to settle for a draw.
