Melbourne Heart FC has been overwhelmed by the positive response to its open invitation for trials for places in its 2011/12 National Youth League team.
Melbourne Heart FC has been overwhelmed by the positive response to its open invitation for trials for places in its 2011/12 National Youth League team.
MHFC confirms that all places have been filled for the January trials (and invitations have been forwarded to those players) however, given the large number of quality applications, MHFC will be conducting trials for the remainder of the players during 2011, most notably during the April 2011 School Holidays.
As the NYL Season is unlikely to commence prior to October 2011, there is a significant period of time for MHFC to assess all those players who applied during January.
To those players not invited to the January trials, you will be contacted in the coming weeks and advised of the time and location of your trial during the April period.
Other relevant information for potential applicants:
• Trials are strictly only open to players born from 1992 to 1995, inclusive. Players born in 1991 who have submitted applications will be invited by the club to participate in separate trials.
• Due to FFA rules, interstate applications and applications from female players cannot be accepted.
