Melbourne Heart FC suffered a dramatic late blow against city rival Melbourne Victory FC this evening, falling 2-1 in the dying minutes at AAMI Park.

In a passionate, colorful and intriguing affair, Heart fought back from a goal down, only to succumb to a late goal.

Marco Rojas had handed the visitors the lead in the 67th minute, but Heart captain Fred popped up with what looked an important equaiser with nine minutes left on the clock.

But Heart were dealt a hammer blow in the final seconds of the match, as Victory stole all three points through a late Archie Thompson strike.
