Melbourne Heart FC’s Kamal Ibrahim has joined representatives from across the sporting landscape in supporting the Walk Against Family Violence on Friday.

Melbourne Heart FC-s Kamal Ibrahim has joined representatives from across the sporting landscape in supporting the Walk Against Family Violence on Friday.

One of the main initiatives to raise awareness for White Ribbon Day, the campaign to end violence against women, Ibrahim represented the Red and White in a march from AAMI Park to Federation Square, culminating in the Not One More event.

Not One More remembers the victims and survivors of family violence, and reminds us of the devastating impact of family violence on our community, with 60 women and 20 children killed each year in Australia in incidents of family violence homicide.

Ibrahim went on stage to make his White Ribbon Pledge against Family Violence, an oath swearing never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women.
