Head Coach John van ‘t Schip has another selection headache on his hands with Brazilian star Alex Terra available for selection after overcoming a hamstring injury sustained over a fortnight ago.

Terra was substituted during the second half of Melbourne Heart FC-s 3-0 win over the Newcastle Jets at AAMI Park, with scans later revealing the former Fluminense star would be sidelined for two to three weeks.

But a quicker than expected recovery has the 29-year-old in contention for a return against the Wellington Phoenix in Morwell, joining Mate Dugandzic and Jason Hoffman as fellow attackers once again in the selection mix.

However, given the wide array of attacking talent at van ‘t Schip-s disposal, it remains to be seen whether the Ajax legend opts to immediately recall Terra to action.

Meanwhile, young winger Kamal Ibrahim continues on the road to recover from an ankle injury, rejoining the main group for training this week.

Ibrahim has been unavailable for selection since picking up a knock in a National Youth League trial match, a major set-back for the former Australian Institute of Sport star after making strides during an impressive pre-season.

Nick Kalmar (back) will remain out of action for at least the next four weeks, while Kliment Taseski (foot fracture) is scheduled for a comeback during the New Year.
