Melbourne City FC can confirm that Matildas international Kyah Simon has sustained an ankle injury that will rule her out for the remainder of the 2018/19 Westfield W-League season.
After an interrupted start to the season due to injury, Simon played an important role in her four games for the Club this season, netting two goals.
The 27-year-old joined the Club at the beginning of the 2017/18 Westfield W-League season, where she went on to play a significant role in City’s championship winning side.
The Club wishes Simon all the very best in her recovery.
