The Socceroos remain undefeated in their first phase of World Cup Qualifying after comfortably taking care of Tajikistan 3-0.

Melbourne City’s Aaron Mooy started once again in the midfield that saw Tomi Rogic replaced by Matt McKay. The midfielder played 68 minutes in the victory, again playing a major role in the engine room and on set pieces.

A double from Tim Cahill headlined the strong second half performance as the Socceroos left the Tajik capital with three points.

The Socceroos next match is away to second placed Jordan next month.
