Jack Clisby is a young versatile defender who will bolster Melbourne City FC’s backline for the 2014/15 and 2015/16 Hyundai A-League seasons. Well known in the West Australian local leagues, Clisby joined Perth Glory and stood out in the 2013/14 season, competing with William Gallas and the experienced Glory defence to make 18 appearances.
Clisby signed for the Club in January 2015 and provides all the attributes Melbourne City FC would desire in a defender. Level-headed and composed on the ball, Clisby won the prestigious Western Australian football award, the McInerty Ford Gold Medal at the age of 20 and will look to use his recent experience to compete for a position at the Club.
